adifferentkindofmagic replied to your post: “I can’t seem to get Trucy to stop watching this old cartoon…”
..spongebob squarepants?

“Not you,” he reassured, “my Trucy. I guess she tuned into a classic cartoon channel, and was completely taken by the program. I can’t pry her from it!”
I know, but I’m not that fond of that show. Why did my other self liked it? That show sucks!
(Different Trucys, different preferences I guess.)

Hey, just give her some pudding! She’ll turn away from the TV at light speed!

It isn’t? [He was doubtful. Didn’t she say some time back that they were practically best friends? Now he can’t help but wonder if either of them had doubts about each other. Considering the kind of world they come from, it would be so easy to do so, which made him even sadder.]
Let me help you. [He followed Trucy to the kitchen. He paused for a second to massage his left shoulder. It’s been hurting more than usual lately. And it’s becoming more painful. He considered getting it checked. But the pain quickly disappeared and he shrugged it off. It’s just a bit of pain, nothing to worry about.]
The more I remember about him, the more I want for him to come back. And he won’t.
[He won’t be back, as hard as it is to accept it she needed too. And besides if Apollo’s really all alone in that world, Mr.Gavin probably already took care of him since the young lawyer was not as useful for him anymore.]
You don’t need to, just focus on guarding the food! There’s cats here, they may snatch it up!
[She opened the drawer and look around for two clean sets of utensils, she haven’t done any cleaning up lately and looking for a pair of not dirty forks were not as easy as it sounded.] (Source: adifferentkindofmagic)

Thanks, I will.

It should be a big operation. The injury I got a year ago was because I was shot. The bullet caused quite a bit of damage to the muscle tissue, almost ruptured a major blood vessel, and it fractured my shoulder blade. According to the doc, I’m lucky my shoulder healed as well as it did back then, considering. Even luckier that it hasn’t caused any major problems—aside from occasional aches—for a little over a year.
As for yesterday’s operation, apparently everything Avery did to fix my shoulder up the first time was coming undone, in layman’s terms. Unfortunately, he somehow missed some shrapnel lodged in my shoulder joint during the first operation, so that caused quite the complication. Even with that, the operation was a complete success. All that’s left is monitoring my shoulder as it heals.
And to make sure everything heals properly, I have to wear the sling. Maybe not for a whole month, but the doc insists.
What’s with the people I know and getting shot in the shoulder? Daddy was shot in the shoulder a few months ago too.

Bad Polly, even though it don’t hurt much but you still need to take care of wounds properly.
Oh well,at least it’s a success. I’ll probably slip a get well soon card below your door later.

No need to tell me twice. From the looks of things, I won’t be released until sometime next week and even then, I have to stay home and keep my arm in a sling for a month. Avery’s moving in just to make sure I follow his orders.
When it comes to his patients, he’s very strict. I guess it’s his way of showing he cares. Avery’s really passionate about his work you know.
Rest well, you need it.

Arm sling? What made you got operated at the first place? That sounds like a big operation.

*sigh* Yes, please. I don’t want my doctor arrested over a false alarm.

Come to think of it … I guess in a way I am being held hostage. But that’s my own fault. You see, this isn’t the first time I had Dr. Avery—that’s his name by the way—as my doctor. I don’t know how he got here, but he did. Anyway, about a year ago, he treated my shoulder and a week after the operation, before my injuries fully healed, I …

Well, I kinda snuck out. He was pretty mad at me about that. Still is.

Hence the fact that I can’t even leave my bed. I’m lucky to even have my laptop here with me. I’m pretty sure he’s standing guard outside my door right now. I get it man, don’t leave until I’m healed. Yeesh.
You shouldn’t have done that, Daddy did that once and he was almost amputated because his wounds got infected. It’s important to heal properly, you know?

That’s some strict doctor…at least he gave you a distraction.

Trucy, NO. I am not being held against my will. I’m fine, I just needed to get my shoulder fixed, that’s all.
Oh, you’re not? I guess the police deserves some explanation, I’ll call them again.

What happened to your shoulder?

Alright! The operation’s over, my shoulder’s not hurting, I’m awake and ready to face the day …

… and why is my ankle tied to the bedframe?
Wait, what operation?

And why are you tied up? Are you being held there againts your will?

Don’t worry, Polly! Trucy Wright will rescue you! I’m calling 911!

You don’t remember?
[Now he actually felt a little sad. He can’t imagine now what it must be like being so far apart from each other. And now he started feeling a little guilty for dredging up sad memories.]
[His plan to get Trucy to eat the carrots forgotten, he gave the young girl a small smile. He may not be her Apollo, but that doesn’t mean he won’t be there for her. He lifted the pan a little so he can feel the bottom.]
We’d better start eating before this gets cold.
Oh well, it’s not that important anyway.
[She doubt that her Apollo will ever be back, remembering those will just be excessive baggage. She already managed to forget her affection towards her real daddy once, she definitely could it again.]
Alright, wait a second here I’m taking the utensils!
[And with that she hopped to the kitchen, halfway through she realized that she should have take it out from her magic panties instead. Too late for that though.] (Source: adifferentkindofmagic)
